God of Sea and Sky: Environment and Faith Conference

26th and 27th of July 2014

St Luke’s Anglican Church

20 Monument Street, Mosman Park

This exciting opportunity to talk about how our Christian faith influences our relationship to God’s creation and all the world’s creatures is simply not to be missed.

The keynote speaker is the Rev. Dr. Jason John from NSW, part time minister of the Sawtell Uniting Church, and part time minister for Uniting Earth.  Jason has completed a PHD on evolution, ecology and theology and will be speaking on a variety of topics around Eco-Theology and how churches can engage with the environmental movement and evolutionary science.
The conference will also include an exciting variety of workshops by scientists, eco-theologians, activitists, musicians, practical church greening people and more. There will be craft, woodworking, ethical food, green liturgy and outside worship, sustainability, Godly Play, permaculture, worms and waste workshops, an ethical fashion show and an opportunity to meet a live critically endangered Carnaby’s Cockatoo. Lots of fun for all ages.
